As dawn breaks over the mountains the light falls on a roosting peacock. Its time to start the day. I had noticed the peacock roost on this tree from afar the evening before. The next morning as dawn was just breaking cover, I noticed the peacock still on the tree and the light had swept over the mountains to caress the tree tops. I had the image come to my mind and with my wide angle I was able to capture the expanse of the light over the mountain and the peacock in the foreground lit up to the light of dawn.
